The
partnership between Nate Tabor and Kaishu Satou began in 2002 in Vienna
as a friendship between a rare instrument collector, and a composer
of film music seeking new tools to produce sound. In the early 1990s,
Mr Satou was one of the first to promote authentic performance of Baroque
music in Taiwan, organizing concerts using Baroque instruments at a
time when this was quite uncommon. This undertaking was difficult however,
given that Baroque reproductions were at the time scarce on this continent.
The donation by Nate Tabor of a viola pomposa to Mr. Satou, began a
lively collaboration and exchange of instruments, including the commissioning
of numerous concerts, often of music that had never been performed before
within the host cities. Happily, the Eastern world has experienced a
renaissance in performing music as it was originally heard during the
time it was composed.
We are interested in creating relationships
with artists, and helping them find the ideal instrument to express
themselves. While we happily supply instruments worldwide, our focus
from the beginning has been to provide Baroque reproductions to Asian
markets at reasonable, artist-friendly prices.
We are also interested in purchasing instruments in every price level.

| Nate Tabor studied Filmmaking in the United
States, and Musical Composition in Berlin, Germany
for
several years until finally settling in Milan,
Italy. A passion for collecting, as well as
performing, and the thrill of attending fine
instrument auctions, has long benefited the wonderful
relationship that is possible between artist and
dealer.
In addition to composing
music for Harpsichord and Clavichord, he finds great
pleasure in providing rare instruments to musicians
and artists worldwide. |
